Happy Birthday Hank Aaron

It’s February 5th and we wish Henry ‘Hank’ Aaron a Happy Birthday.

Henry most popularly known by Hank or his nicknames of “Hammer”
and “Hammerin’ Hank” is a legendary professional baseball player who
played right field in Major League Baseball from 1954 -1976
and is highly regarded as one of the ‘Greatest Baseball Players.’

He was born in Mobile, Alabama and in 1982 inducted into the National Baseball
Hall of Fame. In addition to his great career playing baseball and breaking Babe Ruth’s
record which he took a lot of resistance to including death threats when approaching
those magic numbers. When being inducted to the hall of fame Aaron stated
“I never want them to forget Babe Ruth. I just want them to remember Henry Aaron.”
