Reggae icon trailblazer and gospel singer Carlene Davis released her 13th gospel album, Songs of Zion, on February 28 via VPAL Music and Glory Music. Blending gospel, roots reggae, and Nyahbinghi, the album reflects her Jamaican heritage and celebrates God’s Kingdom as a place of peace and spiritual refuge. |

Songs of Zion is co-produced with her husband, Tommy Cowan, and features renowned Jamaican musicians, including Dean Fraser (saxophone) enriching its sound. With over 23 albums, Davis holds one of the most significant catalogs by a female Jamaican artist. She has toured globally, spreading gospel reggae, and was honored with Jamaica’s Order of Distinction in 2010.
The album’s first single, “Rapha,” released in March 2024, gained international traction. Songs of Zion part of a three-album release by Glory Music is available now on all streaming platforms, Songs of Zion will be featured on Glory Music’s upcoming tour.
