Undefinable Vision producer wins Best Entertainment/Variety/Performing Arts Program at The 20th Annual BETA Awards
Our executive producer Tabou TMF won the the third consecutive Television Production award for Undefinable Vision TV on Thursday, November 3rd, 2016 at The 20th Annual Bronxnet BETA Awards. The Award ceremony took place at the beautiful Lehman Stages, Lovinger Theatre in The Bronx, New York and proudly focused on the theme of “Celebrating The Cinematic Heritage of The Bronx. Past, Present and Future.”
Undefinable Vision was once again nominated in multiple categories this year winning the “Best Entertainment/Variety/Performing Arts Program” award. Previous awards received were for “Best Music Program” in 2014 and “Best Program Series” in 2015.
The event featured live music by the Danny Mixon Trio and performances of dance and original poetry by poet and author of Born Bronxeña: Poems on Identity, Love & Survival Mariposa María Teresa Fernández who was also the host of the 2016 award ceremony.
Other highlights of the evening included a tribute to Dr. Roscoe C. Brown Tuskegee Airman and American hero who was famous for his skillful piloting of military aircraft’s during World War II. Dr. Brown who passed away on July 2, 2016 was also a professional educator at Bronx Community College and one of the earliest BronxNet board members.
