On Sunday August 10th 2014 Chef Jahfrey Juvon Hutto of Jayvon Makers Catering & 3D cakes held his second annual tasting “Food for Thought” Kidney Failure Awareness Gala fundraiser with a portion of the proceeds going to benefit Mount Sinai Transplant Rmti. The Red Carpet was hosted by the beautiful and talented Actress Nina Martinez.
It was a beautiful event themed as an “Orange & White Affair” with orange representing the Kidney National Color. Held on a rooftop on a perfect summer day in the west side of Harlem at The Broadway Housing communities, Guests were entertained by a Live Jazz band featuring Dara Lemite, R&B Duo V.I.P. (Vocally Inspired People), Singer KFhox aka Kat Foxy, Fabiola Paul and music provided by Brooks Brovas Dj’s

In addition to giving this event he and his associates provided delicious delectable delights throughout the evening as patrons enjoyed the dishes, sipped wine and mingled. Later on he gave out awards of recognition to the people who helped him make this a great night for all and shared his story and reminded everyone in attendance how precious life and health are.
