It’s January 19th and we wish a Happy Birthday to Dolly Parton
Dolly is a singer and songwriter who is known for a string of pop-country hits as well as penning hits songs like I Will Always Love You which again became famous when recorded by Whitney Houston. At the young age of 12, she was appearing on Knoxville TV and by 13 she was already recording music. Besides here numerous hit songs and collaborations she also has a theme park in Pigeon Forge, Tennessee named Dollywood and started a reading program for children called Imagination Library where they “send children a free book each month from birth until kindergarten.”
