Derek is an American athlete born on June 26th in Pequannock, NJ who is well known as one of the great baseball players of all time. He was drafted out of high school and has played 20 seasons for The Bronx’s own New York Yankees and is A five-time World Series champion. In addition to his legendary career he is the 28th player to reach 3,000 hits and the all-time MLB leader in hits by a shortstop.
